Letters are being sent reminding those eligible to book in for their booster vaccination. Those eligible for a booster dose of the vaccine include over 50s, people over 16 with a health condition that puts them at high risk of getting seriously ill from Covid-19 and health and social care workers. The public are being urged to take up this invitation as soon as they are invited to maximise their protection over the winter. You can find out more information here.
As well as booster vaccinations, those over 16 are being urged to take up the offer of first and second doses if they haven’t already. You can find your nearest vaccination site and book an appointment on the NHS website or by calling 119.
