This weekend all those eligible for their Covid-19 vaccine will be able to receive a jab at nine sites across the county without booking an appointment as part of the Big Vax-the-Nation Weekend.
Anyone 18 or over can walk in to sites across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire including; Gamston Community Hall, Forest Recreation Ground, King’s Meadow Campus, Richard Herrod Centre, Newark Showground, Ashfield Health Village, Mansfield Wickes site, King’s Mill Hospital Vaccination Hub and Queen’s Medical Centre. This week, the vaccination programme administered more than 36,989 vaccines in one week. So far, 1,130,950 vaccinations have been administered in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with 486,170 of these being second doses.
