Patients in Nottinghamshire will have access to GP services over Christmas and New Year.
Over the festive period, patients can continue to contact their practice during their usual opening hours to arrange an appointment. To prioritise patient safety, patients will be offered a telephone or video consultation and may be invited into their practice where necessary. For repeat prescriptions, patients can contact their practice or use the NHS app.
On Bank Holidays – Christmas Day, Bank Holiday Monday (28 December) and New Year’s Day, patients can call NHS 111 for advice and support. If NHS 111 determine that a patient needs to speak to or see a GP they can arrange this.
