Under Data Protection law individuals have certain rights regarding their personal data which is processed by organisations.

The Caldicott Guardian is a senior person responsible for protecting the confidentiality of service user information and enabling appropriate and lawful information sharing. There are specific processes which are followed to ensure the continuing security and confidentiality of information.
Conflicts of interest guardian

One of the Lay Members of the CCG Governing Body, has been appointed ‘Conflict of Interest Guardian’ with specific responsibilities set out in the Conflict of Interest policy. She is responsible for providing impartial and unconflicted advice and judgement to the Governing Body in cases where it is not obvious whether a material conflict exists or how best to manage it, you can contact her via the contact details below.
Freedom to speak up guardian

In accordance with the CCGs Raising Concerns (whistleblowing) Policy, Jon Towler, Lay Chair of the Governing body has taken responsibility of being the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian for the CCG. The Freedom to Speak Up Guardian supports the organisation in becoming a more open and transparent place to work, where all staff are actively encouraged and enabled to speak up safely.
